# no, No, NO I've read a disturbing post about "minimalism" and that if you want to be a minimalist you should give up the right to repair anything for the lame excuse that repairing could be dangerous, difficult, wasteful and outdated.... WHAT? Are people going bananas ? Their conclusion was: "Minimalism is not about repairing your own devices. It is about giving up your right to repair and buying new ones instead." => I totally DISAGREE. Minimalism is about being self sufficient with less. Being considerate about the planet and things breaking that reach the landfill is simple being human. So repairing is by default a requirement of any gadget created that was intended to serve humans and not corporations. - Repairing should be a right. - Repairing is a skill everyone should have. - You should decide if you choose to repair anything yourself or hand it to more experienced individuals. - Repairing is not the opposite of being a minimalist.
