# Double Commander File manager (Dual panel explorer)

This is a tool that resembles Total Commander , Midnight Commander, Norton Commander, Dos Navigator and other similar idea dual panel file managers.  
I just discovered this new one that is Free and Open source. It was written in Free Pascal and Lazarus (also free).

Can work in all common OS-es: Windows, MacOS, Linux, FreeBSD.

It's very customizable and can work similarly to Total Commander (that is not free) with built in text editor with syntax highlighter, works with archives, image files, sftp and many more features and plugins.
